[2.] James Pierpont, son of John, of Roxbury, born Jan. 4th, 1659; graduated at Cambridge in 1681, settled in the ministry at New Haven, Conn in 1684; Died Nov. 22, 1714 [Aged 55 Yrs]; Married 3 times; Married Mary dt. of Rev. Samuel Hooker.

[3.] Hezekiah, sixth and youngest son of Rev. James Pierrepont, born May 26th 1712. Married Lydia, dt. of Jacob Hemenway , of East Haven. He had two sons, Jacob and John. He died Sept. 29, 1741, aged 29 years.
[4.] John Pierpont, second son of Hezekiah Pierpont, born at New Haven, June 1st, 1740. Married Sarah Beers, dau. of Nathan Beers, Dec. 19, 1767. Died Oct. 8, 1805, aged 65 years. He had 10 children [Many of them died young].
[5.] Hezekiah Beers Pierpont. Resided in Brooklyn, N. Y., and had thirteen children and eighty-eight descendants.
